 Student Activities

To achieve the objective, the institute encourages and facilitates the organisation and participation of the students in the extra-curricular activities. A host of on-campus, student-managed societies are a part of hobby club, sport club and placement club are functional. These provide students with opportunities to develop their leadership and managerial qualities and prepare them to sustain real life challenges. The college organizes technical seminars on regular basis. The college has been providing regular opportunities to government bureaus and public sector establishments to organize campus wide activites. These activites are:

 Techincal Exhibition IDE-EXPO

 

 
IDE-EXPO 2001 was organized by students of NIEC & BBDNITM. It was an exhibition of talents. Host of items in engineering discipline, software and hardwares were brought in front of visitors, who were thrilled with the capabilities of budding technologists.

 Sports Festival

 
Facility for sports like cricket, football, volleyball badminton, basket ball and various indoor games viz. table tennis etc. are available to the students.

 

Annual sports are organized. The college sponsors trophies, shields and cups apart from distribution of prizes to the winners for encouraging various games and sports.

 Techno-Blast 2001

Techno Blast 2001 was organized on the campus of BBDNITM from 23rd to 25th November, 2001 to celebrate the triumph of technology. It was a joint venture of the students of BBDNITM and NIEC. The underlying idea was to encourage the students towards technological innovations and to establish a forum for industry and academic interaction. The budding technocrats displayed their technical skills and proved their dexterity and intellect. 17 institutes were represented by 250 delegates who participated in events that covered IT Exhibitions, Quizzes, Software Olympiad, Guest Lectures, Workshops and Mock Interviews.

 Seminar - 2002 Concept and Modern Approach for the Budding Pharmacist

This seminar was organized by Pharmacy Deptt. of the college. This was the first undergraduate level seminar of Pharmacy in U.P. state. The event was co-sponsored by U.P.Technical University, and was attended by all the Pharmacy institutions of U.P. and Uttaranchal states. The added attractions of the seminar were Exhibitions, IDDS, Competitions and Cultural events.

  • NIEC has organised a National Seminar on "Intelligent Decision Support System & Broadband Communication" in Feb 2003, which was attended by 125 delegates. 36 technical papers were presented by reputed academic institutions, industries etc.
