 Uttar
Pradesh Dental College & Research Centre has been established at
Lucknow, the state capital of U.P. by Babu Banarasi Das Educational
Society under the Chairmanship of Hon'ble Dr. Akhilesh Das, M.P. (Rajya
Sabha) & former Mayor of Lucknow with a vision to facilitate
quality dental health care education of global standards. The
Institution is duly approved by Dental Council of India, Govt. of
India and Govt. of U.P. The sprawling campus of over 125 acres of
land at Lucknow also accommodates following colleges of Babu
Banarasi Das National Institute of Technology & Management (BBDNITM),
a premier Institution of Northern India.
The Society has also
planned to establish another college of Engineering & Management
at New Delhi, a Medical College and a full fledged Hospital at
Lucknow in near future.
The campus at Lucknow is
situated on Lucknow-Faizabad National Highway, about twenty minutes
drive from Charbagh (Lucknow) Railway Station and half an hour drive
from the International Airport.
The mission of the
Institution has evolved out of the memories of Babu Ji, "The
Inspiring Soul", to develop the young citizens in the service
of the Nation. The statement of mission reads as :
