The
course deals with diverse fields like Pharmaceutics,
Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacology,
Pharmacogonsy, Chemical Engineering, Anatomy, Physiology and
Health Education. This course makes a student the only expert of
a medicine, i.e. The medical aspect of engineering aspects, as
well as legal aspect. Computers, Management, Marketing are also
part of the curriculum.
Pharmaceutics Labs have facilities for Granulation, Tabletting,
Coating, Polishing, Capsule Filling etc.
Facilities of Pharmacokinetics Lab, Bioavailability Lab,
Computer Aided Manufacturing etc will soon be included in
Pharmaceutics Lab.
Anatomy
& Physiology has facility for Hemoglobin Content, R.B.C/W.B.C.
Count, Blood Grouping, Analgesiometer, Sterling Heart Livers,
Organ Baths, Dissection Table, B.P Measurement etc.
Pharmacology Lab with facilities for experiments on mice, rats,
rabbits, dogs/cats for analgesia, anticonvulsant activity, anti
inflammatory activity, agonist/ antagonist activities,
ionotropic, chronotropic effects etc will soon be included.
Pharmaceutical
Chemistry Lab has facilities for synthesis Of Drug Molecules as
per Pharmacopeial standards & facilities to be included are
stereomodeling, computer aided drug design etc.
Pharmacognosy
Lab deals with Microscopic Study & Extraction Procedure of
Drugs of Natural Origin
Pharmaceutical
Analysis Lab deals with equipment for quantitative estimation of
drug. Various equipments are Colourimeter, Condutometer,
Polarimeter, Refractrometer etc.Facilities of HPLC, U.V, IR, G.C.
will soon be provided.
Microbiology
Lab deals with Aseptic Transfer on Laminar, Flow Bench,
Autoclave, B.O.D. Incubators, etc.

to come. Our students will be professionally oriented graduates,
ready to meet the challenges of post GATT era in the field of
drugs & Pharmaceuticals.
