To
achieve the objective the Institute encourages and facilitates the
organization and participation of students in extra-curricular
activities. A host of on-campus students managed societies as part
of the hobby club , sports club and placement club are
qualities and prepare them to sustain real life challenges. The
institute organizes technical seminars on regular basis. The
institute has also been providing regular opportunities from govt.,
bureaus and public sector organization to organize campus wide
activities.
Many of the students have achieved top ranks in University
Examinations with State Topper in Architecture (B.Arch.) and
won prizes in various Inter Institutional competitions of IIT-K
(Antaragini), IET-L (Encore) etc. The activities are:
Techno Blast was organized on the campus of
BBDNITM from 23rd to 25th November , 2001 to celebrate the triumph
of technology. It was a joint venture of the students of BBDNITM and
NIEC. The underlying idea was to encourage the students towards
technological innovations and to establish a forum industry and
academic interaction. The budding technocrats displayed their
technical skills and proved their dexterity and intellect. 17
institutes were represented by 250 delegates who participated in
events that covered IT exhibitions , Quizzes , software Olympiad ,
Guest lectures , workshops and Mock interviews.
IDE-EXPO 2001 was organized by students of BBDNITM and & NIEC. It
was an exhibition of talents. Host of Items in engineering
discipline, software and hardware were brought in front of visitors,
who were thrilled with the capabilities of budding technologists.
Students of Pharmacy department participated in '40th National
Pharmacy week'. The theme was "Pharmacists In Health Care For Women
Welfare". Students took active part. The Governor H.E. Vishnu Kant
Shastri presided as guest of honor at the concluding function.
Students from department of architecture participated in ZONASA at
Apeejay school of architecture at NOIDA and annual NASA at Dr.
D.Y.Patil institute at NAVI Mumbai. Their work about models and
drawings was exhibited Exhibition pavilion, at Lucknow.
Our
students participated in Antragni-2001 , a cultural meet
hosted by IIT , Kanpur and bagged a lot of prizes. An english debate
was organized by the bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on November
06,2001. |
